This qualification reflects the role of individuals coordinating and maintaining the work health and safety (WHS) program in an organisation. The qualification applies to supervisors and managers who apply a substantial knowledge base and well-developed skills in a wide variety of WHS contexts.

Overview: Our Self-Paced delivery is designed for those who need a flexible learning structure. This delivery method is entirely online, self-managed approach to the BSB51319 Diploma of Work Health and Safety.
Features: The self-paced delivery method is completed in your own time, at your own pace and is ideally suited to highly motivated self-starters.
We provide our Learners support throughout the learning-pathway via telephone, email, and our industry leading online Discussion Forums.
All course resources are downloaded electronically thus you may commence almost immediately once enrolled.

Attendance Method: Virtual Classroom or Physically in Class
Structure: 5-day workshop with post course work
Overview: Our blended (intensive) delivery for the BSB51319 Diploma of Work Health and Safety includes a 5 day workshop with an experienced HBA trainer.
You have 2 choices to attend the 5 day delivery;
Features: The blended (intensive) delivery model substantially accelerates your learning; you will enjoy and benefit from the group dynamics created by having other learners in a class. Our trainer will lead the group down a very carefully planned pathway of learning where clustered delivery and formal assessment are part of the normal day.
The benefits of this learning experience include the sharing of industry specific WHS/OHS knowledge that comes from being part of a group, plus the expertise and personal help provided by the dedicated HBA trainer. The blended (intensive) delivery is our most popular mode of delivery.
What to expect:
HBA requires a minimum number on courses and if this number isn’t met the course may be cancelled.
Overview: The Blended delivery method for the BSB51319 Diploma of Work Health and Safety can be attended through the Virtual Classroom.
Each Virtual Classroom has a host location in which your trainer will be facilitating from and will co-exist with a face-to-face classroom.
HBA’s Virtual Classroom uses online virtual platforms including, GoToMeeting, Microsoft TEAMS or ZOOM to allow learners to connect to the Trainer and other learners in a virtual setting. Once you enrol you will be sent a confirmation email which has a link for you to download your workbooks and resources, plus a link to the Student forum. A Welcome email will be sent to you by your trainer a few days prior to the course commencing which will have the links that will allow you to login to the Virtual Classroom.
You and the trainer and all the other participants will be able to see and hear each other interact throughout the workshop. You will be shown the features of the virtual classroom and all its benefits and as you progress through the course, you will start using the platform to deliver your own presentations and assessment. Our trainers will provided you with all the help you need to get connected and stay connected.
What will you need to access the Virtual Classroom: To log on to the virtual classroom you don’t need to be a computer Wizz-kid. After enrolment we will provide you step by step instructions which are simple to follow. You will need to have a modern computer that has internet access, it also needs to have a web cam and microphone that the other participants and the trainer can see and hear you on. Whilst laptops a perfect for this purpose, we would recommended that you have at least one other computer monitor/screen connected to your computer, as you will have many documents and web-browser windows open at the same time, it will help you to “virtually” spread out your material.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available for this Qualification.
