04 Feb FAQ 1: How can I do the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment?
HBA offers four (4) delivery methods to complete the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. These are; Self-Paced, Self-Paced Plus (5-day workshop), Blended (15-day workshop) and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Click the arrows below to expand for more information.
SELF-PACED
Our Self-Paced delivery is designed for those that need a flexible learning structure and is ideally suited to highly motivated self-starters. It is beneficial to have experience in vocational education and training. This delivery method is an entirely online approach to the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
HBA provides its Learners ongoing support throughout the learning-pathway via telephone, email, our industry leading online Discussion Forum, and access to our complimentary live Bi-Weekly Q&A Webinars and Presentation Days.
Course materials are downloaded electronically thus, you may commence almost immediately once enroled with the Knowledge Questions Workbook.
SELF-PACED PLUS (5-Day Workshop)
Our Self-Paced PLUS delivery consists of a initial 5 day face-to-face introductory workshop to gain the underpinning knowledge and to be introduced to the tools, instruments and resources that you are required to develop.
This delivery method has a fast-paced face-to-face component attached to a self-paced learning pathway. As the days go past you will see first-hand how the three major learning fields fit together to form the qualification.
In the 5-day introductory workshop you will also review the assessment activities which will prepare you for the assessment tasks you must complete to be found Competent in the 10 Units of Competency that form the qualification.
Upon completion of the workshops, you will be required to complete the remaining practical work and the knowledge questions workbook.
The 5-day workshop can be attended either on-site in our classrooms, or through the Virtual Classroom using Microsoft Teams.
BLENDED (15-Day Workshop)
Our Blended Delivery method is HBA’s most comprehensive way to complete the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. This delivery method offers an approach consisting of 3 by 5 days workshops. Learners are then required to continue their learning and complete their assessment tasks in their own time and at their own pace.
The workshops are separated into three (3) clusters; Cluster 1, Cluster 2 & Cluster 3. These workshops can be attended in consecutive weeks or spread over a period suited to your needs.
During the workshop, learners are introduced to the elements of each unit and provided the opportunity for skill development and practice through group learning activities and completion of selected practical assessment tasks. You will also be involved in role-plays and the commencement of small group and/or individual learning activities under the support, guidance and supervision of a qualified and experienced TAE trainer.
This delivery method also includes a self-paced component. Upon completion of the workshops, you will be required to complete the remaining practical work and the knowledge questions workbook.
The 15-day workshop can be attended either on-site in our classrooms, or through the Virtual Classroom using Microsoft Teams.
RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING (RPL)
For those that hold a relevant qualification and or have current, sufficient and relevant industry experience you may wish to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for all or part of the qualification.
