25 Feb FAQ 3: How long does it take to complete BSB41419 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety?

The amount of time it takes to complete the course is dependent on the learners characteristics. For Example: A Learner with extensive industry experience may achieve competency quicker than a Learner with less experience and lower levels of computer skills. This is the average amount of time it can take;

• Self-paced – There is approximately 600 hours of work when doing it Self-paced. On average we see a Learner take 6 months to complete this delivery method.
• Blended (5-day workshop) – The 5-day workshop focuses on the practical activities within the course. You are then left with the remaining practical and theory work to complete. On average, we see a learner with relevant workplace experience working within established WHS frameworks taking around 3-4 months to complete via this delivery mode.

This is just an average and some learners will complete quicker and some will take longer.
