Early in 2005 our Managing Director was approached by an acquaintance and asked if he would like to start an RTO. As the person was a long term acquaintance Harold asked “how long will it take and how much will it cost?” and the response was “5 or 6 weeks and 3 or 4 thousand dollars.”
It was agreed to commence the application and his acquaintance joined the company (HBA Consulting Group Pty Ltd back then). 11 months and $108,000 later the RTO licence was issued.
