12 Feb FAQ 3: How long does it take to complete TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment?

The amount of time it takes to complete the course is dependent on the learners characteristics. For Example: A Learner with extensive industry experience may achieve competency quicker than a Learner with less experience and lower levels of computer skills. This is the average amount of time it can take;

• Self-paced – There is 600-700 hours of work when doing it Self-paced. On average we see a Learner take 9-11 months to complete this delivery method
• Self-paced PLUS (5-day workshop) – The 5-day workshop acts as an introductory to the course. After the 5-days, you are left with 400-500 hours of work in the course. On average, we see a Learner take 7-8 months to complete this delivery method.
• Blended (15-day workshop) – The 15-day workshop focuses on the practical activities within the course. You are then left with the remaining practical and theory work to complete. On average, we see a Learner take 3-5 months to complete this delivery method.

This is just an average and some learners will complete quicker and some will take longer.
