14 Apr RELEASE – TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Skills Gap Training
PLEASE NOTE: The TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is deemed equivalent to the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
HBA Learning Centres is proud to announce the release of the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Skills Gap Training. To complete the Gap Training, you have two different pathways;
Pathway 1 – Part RPL and Part Training and Assessment Pathway
If you have completed TAE40110/TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment with either;
- TAEDEL301 Provide work skill instruction or
- BSBCMM411 Make presentations/BSBCMM401 Make a Presentation
as the elective then you will receive Credit transfer for one of these plus the core unit TAEDEL402 Plan, organise and facilitate learning in the workplace. Then you will complete the Skills Gap Training (remaining 10-units) through the Training and Assessment Pathway.
The delivery methods for Pathway 1 are;
- Self-paced – $1200
- Blended (5-day workshop) – $1500,
You will need to detail a credit transfer form and provide a copy of your Qualification, Statement of Results and Statement of attainment (if appropriate).
Pathway 2 – Complete RPL Pathway
If you have completed TAE40110/TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment with either;
- TAEDEL301 Provide work skill instruction or
- BSBCMM411 Make presentations/BSBCMM401 Make a Presentation
as the elective then you will receive Credit transfer for one of these plus the core unit TAEDEL402 Plan, organise and facilitate learning in the workplace.
You will need to detail a credit transfer form and provide a copy of your Qualification, Statement of Results and Statement of attainment (if appropriate). In addition to these you will need to detail an RPL kit and provide evidence specific for the gap in each unit; the kit identifies exactly what you can provide. In this pathway the cost will be $200 per unit for RPL and $50 per unit for Credit Transfer (Past HBA TAE Learners pay nothing for credit transfer). The RPL kit can be seen HERE.

Elective Units
TAEDEL311 Provide work skill instruction R1 (Elective, Group A)
TAEDEL412 Facilitate workplace-based learning R1 (Elective, Group A)
TAEDEL414 Mentor in the workplace R1 (Elective, Group A)
TAELLN421 Integrate core skills support into training and assessment R1 (Elective, Group B)
TAELLN423 Integrate employability skills support into training and assessment R1 (Elective, Group B)
BSBCMM411 Make presentations R1 (Elective, Ungrouped)
RPL may only be considered for these units.
