Neil conducted a course well-suited to the groups needs and engaged everyone really effectively. He provided clear and constructive feedback where necessary meaning we got full value out of the training session.
Samuel Pickering - NSW - Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
HBA have just sent me a soft copy of my certificate and said that it will also be posted to me today. Thanks so much for all your help and guidance throughout the course, I couldn’t have finished it if you guys weren’t so understanding and supportive.
Nida Khan - ACT - Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care
My experience with HBA has been a very good one. They have been able to accommodate all of my transitional requests from the core diploma subjects to my face to face completion of the entire WHS diploma competency.
Darren Hunter - QLD - Diploma of Work Health & Safety
Being in my mid 30’s and often finding myself worried if I was cut out for studying again, HBA staff members were always available to assist me in times when I was uncertain. I have been very satisfied with the support I received which I feel contributed hugely towards completing my course. The course taught me everything I needed and much more than I expected, I am so pleased that I chose HBA.
Elisa Levinson - WA - Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care
Thank you very much for assessing my workbook so promptly. I really appreciate your cooperation and great support from all the HBA assessors through my journey. I have always felt that I was supported even during the time when I was struggling to keep balance with my family life. Now I have received a job offer from the childcare where I completed my work placement, and I accepted. My dream has finally come true! I felt very lucky that I chose HBA as my learning organisation and now I know many things about Early childhood education and care. All thanks to you!
Kaori Hatfield - NSW - The CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
In every area, my expectations of HBA Learning Centres and the course were not just met, but were well and truly exceeded. The course organisation, subject matter, delivery and resourcing were outstanding.
Bradley Carlin - NSW - Diploma of Work Health & Safety
Having recently undertaken the Diploma of Quality Auditing (BSB51615) with HBA Learning Centres, I’m not sure what has impressed me most, the quality of the training material, the experience and capability of the Facilitator (Carmen Yates) and her ability to adapt the course to her participants, or the overall quality and professionalism of HBA as a training organisation (RTO). Having worked with RTOs for more than a decade, finding quality providers who genuinely care about the learning outcomes for their participants can be a rare find. HBA are a standout.
Linda Spurr - ACT - BSB51615 Diploma of Quality Auditing
Highly interactive facilitation approach. Networking with other industry reps in similar roles. You have the right instructor delivering this course – knowledgeable, adaptable, enthusiastic.
Bevan Hargrave - NSW - Diploma of Vocational Education & Training
Rebecca always displayed a professional approach towards facilitating this course. She is a great communicator, I have learnt a lot to assist me with my project management in my workplace.
Paul Smith - QLD - Certificate IV in Project Management Practice
Carmen is great, extremely knowledgeable and delivers course content very effectively. For someone that hasn’t studied in over 10 years I didn’t know how I’d go but Carmen was very helpful and made learning easy.

TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
I had an interview yesterday at a institute here in Melbourne, for a position as a Casual Carpentry Teacher. (Cert II Carpentry Pre App to start with, which is perfect…)
I now understand the benefit of completing my TAE through the likes of HBA…
The Building Department Manager who was conducting the interview, only briefly asked about my work history (which kind of surprised me) and seemed mainly interested in where I had undertaken my TAE training… as soon as I uttered the words “HBA Learning Centre” her face lit up with excitement and relief… “Oh yeah, that’s great, they are excellent, I have done some training with them in the past and they are fantastic to deal with…”
Looks like I’m on my way. Paperwork is being sent off today and luckily I had all of my Police Check and WWC in place as it looks I’m starting on Monday!!
Thanks again for all of your help.

I would like to commend HBA on being very thorough with the assessments and marking. It is both fair and necessarily rigid, which means the HBA name can be upheld as being trustworthy and reputable.
Too often RTO’s are too relaxed with their marking structure and give out pass grades to assessments/students that could do with better guidance and to be pushed to really re-think their approach to learning.
HBA also offer a holistic marking structure, meaning if a student is a little off course in one area of a module, but satisfactory in all others, they are assessed overall and deemed competent, but given advice to correct their approach to that area.
The turn around time for assignments, initially, was quite long being around 1-2 months. We were kept informed as to the behind the scenes backlog that HBA staff were experiencing and informed we needed to direct or queries accordingly to avoid contributing to the backlog. The turn around time then came down to around 1-2 weeks, which is fantastic for those of us who need to fast track our learning.
I had no issues downloading any materials, however, the workbooks have some parts missing but they are easily sourced from a tutor.
I thank HBA for their support and diligence in approach to helping me receive my qualification.
