Completing BSB50920 Diploma of Quality Auditing

The new qualification for Auditors has gained considerable interest given it is now over 3 years since it superseded the previous qualification. As an RTO we understand the level of complexity the qualification presents and thus we need to determine whether an applicant for enrolment can undertake the course via a self-paced delivery method. Many times, we have to say no to those that wish to do self-paced learning but have no experience or background in the Auditing activity.

As an RTO we are required to ensure a person that enrols in a qualification can complete it, it is a legislated requirement imposed upon all RTO’s under the standards for RTO’s.

During the course Learners are introduced to ISO standards and indeed the first audit is conducted against elements of ISO 9001:2015

The core units concentrate on participating, initiating, leading and reporting on an Audit and the Blended delivery method is conducted over 5 consecutive days. As a Blended delivery there is work to do post the Trainer led 5 days and this includes a second audit and the Knowledge Question Workbook. For those that only wish to hold BSB00128 Lead Auditor Skill Set the successful completion of these 4 Units of Competency results in a Statement of Attainment being issued. For those that wish to hold the complete qualification there is a second 5 days to cover off the practical elements of the 8 elective units.

The course is not for everyone as it is an AQF level 5 qualification and the subject matter, content, work required and learning outcomes are complex and sophisticated, these require an above level of intellect to successfully complete. Further information about the course can be obtained HERE
